Linking Epidemiology and Laboratory Research on Transboundary Animal Diseases and Zoonoses in EU and China – LinkTADs is a project funded by the European Commission under the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). This project aims to coordinate research on two important components of the disease control cycle, i.e. epidemiology and laboratory diagnostics, between partners in the European Union (EU) and China.
LinkTADs brings together world-class research institutes and experts in cross-border cooperation with the aim to coordinate research between the EU and China, thus improving scientific excellence in animal health (epidemiology and laboratory). The LinkTADs platform http://www.linktads.com/ provides interested parties with all relevant information about EU-China cooperation. With the help of the platform international researchers are able to generate new cooperation ideas and contribute to discussions in the field of animal health research, agriculture and food safety.
