 1st DRAGON-STAR Dissemination workshop, Porto, 14 May 2014

The Dragon STAR project is proud to announce its first Large Dissemination Workshop in Portugal. The Dragon STAR project is financed by the European Commission and its main aim is to promote the reciprocity of EU-China research collaboration, in scientific, technological and industrial research and innovation fields, and disseminating Chinese funding opportunities to EU researchers. SPI, as the project partner and Porto Workshop organizer, hopes you find this opportunity of interest. Outcome

On May 14th, 2014, Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação (SPI) organized the First Dissemination Workshop of the European Commission funded Dragon STAR – Sustaining Technology and Research (EU-China Collaboration) project (www.dragon-star.eu) in Porto. The event attracted 32 participants from industries, universities, as well as the Portuguese National Contact Point (NCP).

The aim of the workshop was to promote the Dragon STAR project and its effort in enhancing the reciprocity of EU-China research collaboration. The workshop disseminated current results of the project, provided an overview of Chinese funding opportunities, and demonstrated the project research programme database. Success stories of EU researchers collaborating with China was also shared.

The next dissemination event will be organized in cooperation with the 5th  INCO Conference in Athens, where the Dragon STAR project and the Chinese Funding Programmes will be introduced and promoted to the attendants.
