1. International Conference on Atmospheric Science and Air Pollution Control
The International Conference on Atmospheric Science and Air Pollution Control is being organised by The University of Nottingham Ningbo China and Institute of Earth Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
The conference is supported by Chinese Association of Aerosol Science and Technology, Beijing Association of Power Technology, Zhejiang Meteorological Science Institute, Peking University, Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry and Institute of Atmospheric Physics Chinese Academic of Sciences, South China Environmental Science Research Institute, Ningbo Research Centre for Urban Environment Chinese Academy of Science, Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences, Shanghai Centre for Urban Environmental Meteorology, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong Baptist University, Research Center for Environmental Changes, Academia Sinica and National Tsinghua University (Taiwan).
The conference will cover broad topics on atmospheric sciences, air quality and air pollution control technologies. Topics to be covered are including: atmospheric aerosols, atmospheric chemistry and physics, measurements and modeling of air pollutants, greenhouse gases and climate change, air pollution meteorology and long-range transport of air pollutants, impact of air pollution on health, smart air quality monitoring technology, air pollution control technologies and air pollution management and etc.
2. The 7th Fine and Ultrafine Particles Workshop
The 7th Fine and Ultrafine Particles Workshop is organised by the Chinese Association of Aerosol Science and Technology, China Session of Air and Waste Management Association and Institute of Earth Environment. It will be conducted in Ningbo on 9th October 2013.
Themes: The workshop aims at providing state of art training on PM2.5 research method, smart monitoring and advanced control technologies. The specific topics will include: PM2.5 sampling and analytical methods, source apportionment techniques, design and management of PM2.5 smart monitoring network, quality assurance and quality control, impact of PM2.5 on haze and visibility, impact of PM2.5 on health, PM2.5 pollution modeling as well as PM2.5 pollution control technologies and strategy etc.

Please submit (oral or poster presentation) abstracts (400 words limit) electronically to the above three mail addresses by 15th August 2013. Once the abstract is accepted, notification on the final paper submission with the format requirement will be sent accordingly.
